It is the most Northern located metropolis with white nights in summer and short, cold days in winter.
The house was built in 1827. It is situated on the edge of the old centre; on the corner of the Angliski prospect and the Fontanka embankment. The entrance is from the embankment. It takes about 7 minutes on foot to get from the house to St. Nicolas Cathedral, 15 minutes to Marinsky (Kirov) theater and 20 minutes to Nevski prospect. Being situated on the third, the top floor, of the building the apartment offers a magnificent panoramic view over the Fontanka-river. The apartment was fully renovated in 2002/2003.
